First time using embossing folders with my Big Shot

Thanks for looking!!

All Hands on Deck LO

I got tired of having all my pictures as squares, so I purchased the Creative Memories Cutting System. I've tried on the cricut, but I could never get it just right. Love the cutting templates from CM, so much easier.

The Octopus Title is cut at 3" from the Life's a Beach Cartridge. My favorite part... the googley eyes.

Hail to the Victors

My husband has a mini me. Our 4 year old is all about the University of Michigan. He recieved U of M bedspread and curtains for Christmas. So we needed something on the wall.
Vinyl: Admiral Blue & Sunshine Yellow from http://www.ohmycrafts.com/
Cricut Cartridge: Varsity Letter
Kiss Cut on Med, since I need to replace my blade soon.
I used the gypsy, so I could fit it all on the 12" x 24" mat.

I didn't realize the letter "A" was smaller until I already had it on the wall. Ordering more Admiral Blue Vinyl today.

Hop for A Cure Projects

My first time doing challenges for a blog hop. I know I will not complete all before midnight tonight, but this is what I have so far.
Each year we participate in The Race for the Cure, so this is a layout for our first race back in 2008. I will do my journaling later, of course.
I used the black sharpie in the mini sharpie holder from http://www.chomascreations.com/
I find it so easy, using the layering on the gypsy to create the title and then just switch out the marker holder for the blade.
The ribbons are from the Stand & Salute Cartridge

A fun card for a little girl or one that is young at Heart.
Cardstock: Stampin Up~ Kraft
Cartridge: Everyday Paperdolls

I'm Sooo ready for Spring, so Let's celebrate!

Authentic Tiger Stadium Seats

My husband purchased a set of 4 Tiger Stadium seats. He had a wood base made and painted. They have been sitting in the family room and they needing a little something.
So...here is my first try at Vinyl with the Cricut and Gypsy! Wow, very thankful I have the gypsy, with all the changes I had to make. I had it all in Blackletter, then I needed to keep adjusting the size of the font. Being able to see it on the cutting mat before I cut, made all the diifference.

"Tiger Orange" Vinyl from http://www.ohmycrafts.com/
Medium pressure, Slow speed
Numbers cut at 3", Letters 4", "English D"  or  Blackletter 7"
My husband wanted a white shadow background.... maybe next time.

Tractor card

I just finished designing and cutting the card, now to put it all together. So happy I got my Gypsy for Christmas. If you have a Gypsy, I highly recommend "Use your Gypsy A to Z", from Above Rubies Studios. It is worth every penny!!
I used the Boys will be Boys cartridge, layers cut at 4.5"
